We are pleased to invite you to join us at the West Kootenay Legion Track Meet.  This meet is also falls within the qualification timeline for the Zone 1 BC Games Team for U16 athletes.  This track meet is open to anyone born in 2017 and earlier. Only athletes born in 2011/2012 will be considered for the BC Games Zone 1 team.

Selection to Zone 1 Summer Games Team: Maximum of 12 female and 12 male athletes. Athletes may be selected for three individual events and one relay or the pentathlon and one relay. Athletes must be 14-15 years of age (born 20011/2012 as of December 31, 2026)

The B.C Summer Games is a great opportunity to meet other athletes from all over B.C competing in your sport. The 2026 B.C. Entry Fees: 

• JD athletes (9-13 in 2026) – $15.00/event for the first event and then $8/event for subsequent events.
• U16 and older athletes – $20/event for the first event and then $10.00/event.
• All athletes must pay a $5 Officials Fee
